We want to join you on this journey of recovery

In the traditional medical model of care, the process of “assess and refer” involves referring patients sequentially to different medical specialists until a cause for patients’ symptoms is identified.
This linear approach toward diagnosing and treating patients neglects the complexity of persistent medical symptoms, thus contributing to patient distress and poor treatment outcomes.

We are different…

“The traditional medical model of care

Our contemporary approach

We have advanced from one-to-one care to a one-to-many by maximizing virtual technology that allows for telephone, messaging, individual and group visits, education, and psychotherapeutic support.

A central component of the care model is the nurse specialist, who aims to build a strong therapeutic relationship with patients. The nurse is supported by a hybrid in-person-virtual care team comprised of a psychiatrist, neurologist, neurotologist, physiotherapy, and patients’ family physician.

Our nurse specialist is consistently accessible and available as needed for health recovery coaching, education, referral to local resources, and flow of medical information among patients and clinicians in support of patients’ successful recovery.

We utilize an attachment-based interdisciplinary model of care that integrates nursing and neuropsychiatry
